WEEK #1

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

I absolutely love my neighbourhood~ It's always been peaceful and quiet here, and some days the weather gets really chilly 🍃 Even today, it rained continuously but lightly. That's why as I'm writing this, I'm wrapped up cozily in my grey jumper while sharing this warmth with my cat who's been sleeping soundly next to me. I'm a bit worried she might roll off the bench because it happened twice since I got here. She's a weird cat, but never boring 😂 I'm definitely going to miss this place soon, I love everything about it. From our cozy little house to the green view you'll get outside our windows 🖤 Even these walls will be missed, and birds who stop by our balcony from time to time.

Many things have happened since Friday. I was determined to write them down as soon as possible in case I forget but I couldn't find the right time to do so until now. Last Friday, I was the happiest person alive! Hihihi 😁 (... a postman just came by) My sister and I had our driving test on the same day so we went together and had our crazy time. I met my driving coach who I'm unusually close to since my first day (and slightly surprised by her personality change, she warned me in advance that it happens on every test day). Unfortunately, not everything turned out great that day :(( It turns out my sister failed both parts on her previous test (circuit and road) but was informed that she only failed one. So whether she likes it or not, she still has to take both tests on the same day. I obviously wasn't happy about it, especially since it didn't sound fair on her part and she only prepared herself for part 3, but what's done is done. She'll just have to give it her best even though the both of us had already expected the outcome 💪 I'm thankful to have a really kind-hearted coach who's been willing to guide us throughout the day, she's been so kind to the both of us (and happens to be the only person considerate enough to understand my sister's sticky situation). Apart from that, everything else was fine. It rained most of the day so I didn't have to worry about waiting in the heat. Also, my name came out second last so I had to wait a little bit after midday to prove them how well I can drive. I started off with the circuit test, Alhamdulillah all good. Next, the road test which I dreaded most, but surprisingly that too went quite well, except for the time when I almost... almost drove past the red light ALMOST 😭 My sister, on the other hand, had successfully passed her road test and was given a second chance to prove how well she can drive on the circuit.

At the end of the day, we both returned home with smiles on our faces 😊 It's been a tough a day but we made it. I told my sister before the test that if I pass my driving test it would feel like a dream and she said only a miracle would let her pass hers. And now, I think a miracle might just happen 😍💕
